Users may access the Memoressa service through the Memoressa application on mobile devices (the “Service”). “Device” includes, without limitation, mobile phones, tablets, or other consumer electronic devices. This Privacy Policy applies to your access to the Memoressa Service regardless of how you access it. By using our Service, you agree to the collection, transmission, processing, storage, disclosure, and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. The various forms of data, content, and information described below are collectively referred to as “Information.”

1. Information We Collect and Store

When you use the Memoressa Service, we may collect and store the following Information:

Information you provide. When you register for an account, we collect certain personal information, such as your email address. You may also use your social network information if you grant us permission to access your account on a social networking connection service.

We collect and store photos (“Photos”) that you upload, download, or access using the Memoressa Service.

When you use the Service, we automatically log information about your device, device software, and your activity while using the Service. This information may include your device’s IP address, language preferences, and photo metadata.

2. How We Use Personal Information

In the course of providing the Service, we may collect personal information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information is used to personalize and improve your experience.

Some devices allow applications to access real-time location information (for example, GPS). Our mobile application does not collect such information from your mobile device while you download or use our mobile application; however, we may collect such information in the future with your consent to improve our Service. Certain photos and videos you upload in Memoressa may contain recorded location information. We may use this information to optimize your experience. If you do not wish to share files that contain geographic location information with us, please do not upload them. If you do not want location data stored in photos or videos, refer to your camera’s instructions to turn off this feature. In addition, some information we collect from your device (such as IP address) may sometimes be used to approximate the location of the device.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We display your Personal Information on your profile page and elsewhere on the Service according to the preferences you set in your account. Any information you choose to provide should reflect how much you want others to know about you. Please consider carefully what you disclose on your profile page and the level of anonymity you expect. You can review and modify your profile information at any time. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.

We use Amazon’s S3 storage service to store your photos. You can learn more about Amazon’s data security on the S3 website.

We do not share your messages with third-party applications.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Information may be transferred as part of that transaction, but we will notify you (for example, by email and/or by posting a prominent notice on our website) of any change in control or use of your Personal Information or files, or if they become subject to a different privacy policy. We will also inform you of any choices you may have regarding that Information.

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain your Information for as long as your account is active. If you wish to cancel your account, you may delete your account. Please note that deletion of Information from our servers may be delayed, and backup copies may remain after deletion, but backup copies will not be kept for more than one month.

The security of your information is important to us. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all transmissions, including browsing photos or profile information, completing forms, and uploading or downloading photos.

We follow generally accepted standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and after we receive it. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of Information. 5. Changing or Deleting Your Information

You may view, update, or delete the Personal Information you provided during registration or in your account profile by changing your Account Settings. If you no longer need our Service, you may request permanent deletion of your Memoressa account through Account Settings.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be changed at any time. If we believe that changes to this Privacy Policy materially reduce your rights, we will notify you (for example, by email). In other cases, we may also notify you of changes. If you continue to use the Service after these changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
